Fansimo has zero tolerance for the sexual exploitation or abuse of children. Every listed creator must be an adult, and reports about minors are handled before anything else.

Use any of these channels. You can report to us and to a hotline at the same time: it helps protect a child faster.

Our position

Zero-tolerance principles

  • Adults only

    Every creator in the directory must be 18 or older. There are no exceptions.

  • Zero tolerance

    Any content, text or link that sexualizes a minor is removed permanently.

  • Act first, review second

    A reported listing is taken offline while the report is reviewed.

  • Work with authorities

    We report and cooperate with the organizations responsible for protecting children.

What is never allowed

These rules apply to every part of a listing: photo, name, description, tags, categories and the link it points to.

  • Any listing of a person who is, or appears to be, under 18
  • Images, descriptions, names, tags or categories that sexualize minors or present an adult as a minor
  • Links to child sexual abuse material, or to places where it is shared
  • Grooming, solicitation, sexual extortion or trafficking of any person
  • Intimate images of any person shared without their consent
  • Listings of creators whose adult age has not been confirmed

Process

How we handle a report

Safety reports are reviewed before any other message we receive.

    Your report is prioritized above every other request in our inboxes.

  2. Step 2

    Listing taken offline

    The reported listing is removed from the website as a precaution while we review it.

  3. Step 3

    Review

    We review the listing and the information in the report, without downloading or storing illegal material.

  4. Step 4

    Escalation

    Apparent child sexual abuse material is reported to NCMEC, the IWF or the competent authorities, and relevant information is preserved for them.

  5. Step 5

    Outcome

    Listings involving a minor are removed permanently and never added again. A listing is only restored if the review clearly shows the report was unfounded.

Prevention

Safeguards built into Fansimo

Reporting matters most when prevention fails. These protections are part of how the website itself works.

    Adult confirmation before publishing

    A listing cannot be published unless it records that the creator was confirmed to be 18 or older on the source platform. The site will not build without it.

    Automated checks reject any listing whose name, description, tags or categories contain terms associated with minors.

    No uploads, messages or accounts

    Visitors cannot upload images, post content or message anyone, which removes common routes for abuse.

    Adults-only access

    Visitors must confirm they are 18 or older before viewing listings. This is a self-declaration, not identity verification.

    A removed listing disappears from every page, list and search result, and its address returns a "gone" response.

Legal

Cooperation with authorities

Child protection laws differ between countries. Where the law requires it, we report to and cooperate with the competent authorities, and we preserve information for as long as they or the law require.

Independently of any legal obligation, our policy is to report apparent child sexual abuse material to the NCMEC CyberTipline, the Internet Watch Foundation or the relevant national authority, and to answer lawful requests from law enforcement.

Other harmful content

Non-consensual intimate images, impersonation and creators listed against their will are handled with the same urgency. Report them to [email protected]. Adult creators can also ask for their own listing to be removed at any time through our removal process.

FAQ

Questions about reporting

What if I'm not sure something is illegal?

Report it anyway. You do not need to be certain. We and the hotlines are responsible for assessing it, and a report made in good faith is always the right choice.

Can I report anonymously?

Email reports to Fansimo include your email address, but you do not need to give your name. The Internet Watch Foundation accepts reports without contact details.

Will you tell me what happened after my report?

We will confirm that a listing was removed when we can. Where authorities are involved, we may not be able to share details of the outcome.

The problem is on a creator platform, not on Fansimo. What should I do?

Report it to the platform using its own safety tools, and to a hotline listed above. If a Fansimo listing links to that profile, report it to us as well so we can remove it.
